They are some of the residential developments that are being built in my county, so I went to see the models because I love gleaning inspiration from professionally styled homes. When I tour homes, I notice a lot of lovely textures and textiles, but one thing that stands out to me is the creative walls in the kid’s room. Several pieces were painted colorblocked and striped. I no longer decorate children’s spaces, so I live vicariously through other people raising children.
There are many ways to use paint creatively to add fun colors and patterns in children’s spaces. Paint is notoriously easy to change after a few years as kids outgrow or tastes change. Below are three kids’ spaces I captured on my phone while visiting a local model home, and I especially love the colorful nursery walls.
