I’m going on an impromptu trip this week and I found a good deal on a flight to Palm Springs, so I’ll be in that town for two days, and I’ll also drive to Joshua Tree for some photoshoots. The area is a cool part of California where you can drive around and see all the mid-century modern architecture of Palm Springs, and just thirty minutes out of town experience the bohemian desert energy of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree.

I have some painting projects waiting for me when I get back, I am putting up a black and white home gallery wall upstairs and painting the kitchen and family room. There are still a few weeks until summer break and school starts. I’m enjoying as much sunshine and relaxation as I can until that day comes. 🙂
